1. DELETE FROM INSIDE THE APP

You can delete your Pumppal account and all associated data directly in the app. This takes effect immediately and requires no request or waiting period.

  1. Open Pumppal and go to your Profile.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Delete Account section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Press and hold the “Press and Hold to Delete Account” button, then confirm when prompted.

The press-and-hold is intentional. A single tap will not delete anything — it only displays a reminder. This prevents accidental deletion of an account that cannot be recovered.

2. REQUEST DELETION WITHOUT THE APP

If you have already uninstalled Pumppal, or you are unable to sign in to your account, you can request deletion by email at pumppalofficial@gmail.com.

Please send your request from the email address registered to your Pumppal account, and include your username or handle. We verify account ownership before deleting any data. Requests are completed within 30 days of verification, and in most cases within a few business days.

3. WHAT IS DELETED

Account deletion is permanent and immediate. There is no recovery period, and a deleted account cannot be restored. The following data is erased:

  • Your profile, account login credentials, settings, and streak history
  • Your workouts, training schedules, personal bests, and rank history
  • Your exercise analytics, muscle group ratings, and cardio routes
  • Your posts, short posts, comments, and community activity
  • Your friend connections, in both directions
  • Every photo and file you uploaded, including your profile picture and route images

No personal data is retained after deletion completes. Copies may persist briefly in encrypted infrastructure backups, which expire on their own rolling schedule and are never used to restore a deleted account.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and must be cancelled through the store that issued them before you delete your account:

  • Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  • iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
